Common PS4 faults before drop-off
PS4 cases often involve no image, HDMI port, overheating, loud fan, disc drive, power or storage. Try another HDMI cable and another TV if you can, but stop if the port is loose or damaged.
No image, heat and disk issues must be separated
No image can be TV, cable, HDMI port or motherboard. Overheating and loud fan are assessed with dust, fan and cooling. Slow menu, error codes or games that will not start can also involve hard drive or system software.
